Show E Naples Jo Openshaw Phone 789-3157 Reva Ruppe travels to California Reva Ruppe went via air to San Diego, Calif., Tuesday to visit Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Farikoff and another sister, Joyce Cober and her daughter Carol Lococo and children. She also visited another niece, Kay Brown. Mrs. Ruppe returned to Salt Lake City where she was met by LaVell and Laura Simmons who brought her home Saturday evening. Camp Porter Merrell held a CUP meeting Sept. 17 at the home of Elva Manwanng. Business was discussed and luncheon was served. Gregory Olsen, son of Dan and Brenda Olsen accompanied his grandparents, the Kedric Caldwells to Provo Saturday. David Manwaring who is in the Basic Air Training Force in Texas is home for a few days visit with his wife Christy and relatives and friends. Jim and Christine Richardson and family from Salt Lake City have moved into Naples First Ward. Jim is a respiratory therapist at the Uintah County Hospital. Dale and Betty Merrell took their daughter Doris to Logan Friday where she will go to college at USU. Clara Jackson, a teacher at Naples Elementary school, who has been staying with Elva Manwaring, moved into her new home in Davis Ward Saturday. Her father, Elmer Birchell of Salt Lake City came to help her move. Clarence and Elsie Palmer received word that their sister-in-law, Mrs. Harold McKee had died Saturday night. Stan and Beth Tolbert from Alpine visited Sunday afternoon with the Lawrence Kays and the Robert Kay family. TheTolberts were neighbors of the Kays when they lived in Salt Lake City. Arnold and Vena Baker took their daughter Kay to Logan Sunday where she will attend USU this school year. Rick Salazar lei t Saturday to resume his studies at the University of Utah for the school year. Teresa Kay and children Kolby and Linsi Iyee accompanied her mother, Ida Mortensen to Salina last week to visit Mrs. Mortensen's parents. Elmer Birchell of Salt Lake City visited Ray and Marial Nash Saturday. He is their brother-in-law. LaVell and Laura Simmons have received an LDS mission call to serve in the Las Vegas, Nevada mission. C.E. (Tex) and Norma Evans visited their son Russell and family in Grand Junction, Colo., last Sunday and Monday. Gail Gnble and daughter of Hunter came Tuesday to visit her parents the C.E. Evans. They returned to Hunter Friday. |
