The Manila LDS Relief Society is sponsoring a "Country Fair" at the Manila LDS recreational hall at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 17. Committees have been working on table decorations, stuffed toys, quiet books for children, quilts, popcorn baskets, picnic baskets, ribbon wreaths, pillow cases, matching quilts and pillow cases for children, dish towels, and manh other items which will be donated by members. There will also be a lunch and a bake sale that evening. The evening is planned so that you can do Christman shopping for needlework and cooked items, have lunch and socialize. Dr. Chris Crnich, veterinarian, was in Manila Friday to give booster shots to the dogs that received shot? for the deadly virus that is killing so many puppies the past few months. Evidently some of the dog owners did not see the notices placed in the post office and other places in town saying he'd be here as they did not bring their dogs back. Dr. Crnich also gave some distemper shots. He plans to return to Manila in a few weeks so those people wishing him lo lake care ol their dogs, be looking tor notices. Mrs. Elbert Steinaker Sr. of Manila and Mrs. Alfred Reich, Sr., of Rock Springs, Wyo., have returned to Lub-Iwck, Lub-Iwck, Texas where they spent several weeks with Mrs. Steinaker's daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Reich. While the women were there, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Reich, Jr., became parents of a girl bom August 25 in Lubbock. The little miss weighed 8 pounds 4'L. ounces and was named Allison Barbara. Alfred Reich, Jr., recently received his doctorate degree at Lubbock and they are moving to Houston, Texas where he will be employed bv the McDonald Mc-Donald Douglas Space Shuttio. Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Iverson and children of Cokeville, Wyo., visited with Kelly's parents Mr. anil Mrs. Howard Iverson this past weekend.
