Show church agrees to sell hospital block to county Uintah County has received an agreement with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Latter Saints and Vernal City to acquire the entire city block of property now occupied by Vernal First Fifth Ward Chapel and the Uintah County Hospital The Church has agreed to sell the Vernal First-Fifth First Chapel building and property and to also release a covenant lease to Uintah County and Vernal City on the present hospital property In turn Vernal City has agreed to turn its property over to Uintah County for the city block hospital complex A new multi chapel will be built by the Church on property acquired two blocks north of the present complex x The old chapel structure will be torn down by Uintah County TilE THE ARCHITECT firm of Daniels and Edwards and Associates has presented rough plans for building a new hospital building at the rear of the old hospital going to the south on the property belonging to the Church The price agreed upon for the church property and permanent title to the present city and county hospital property Is according to the Uintah County Commissioners The County Commissioners said they were still in the planning stages in determining the size structure position and method of financing a new hospital facility When the proposed plans have been decided they will be presented to the local taxpayers for their acceptance or rejection explained explained ex the commissioners |
