Show I COPPERFIELD '. Shirley Pantalone, Ph. 106 e Pete Gardikis who is stationed at the air base at Las Vegas, Nev. arrived home Sunday to spend the Christmas holidays with his parents, Mr., and Mrs. Harry Gardikis. Gar-dikis. The U.G.I.G. club met Wednesday Wed-nesday night at the home of Mrs. John Barrett for the annual Christmas social. Winning prizes priz-es at five hundred were Mrs. R. G. Steele, Mrs. F. J. Quinn and Mrs. Ray Watson. A delicious late luncheon was served. Paul Valdez, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Valdez, arrived home Sunday from Texas for the Xmas holidays. UPPER BINGHAM SCHOOL NOTES A delightful Christmas fantasy play was presented by the first, second and third grades at Cop-perfield Cop-perfield school . last Thursday. The play was directed iby the first grade teacher, Miss Grace Carr, and Miss Faye White, t'le kindergarten teacher, was accompanist. ac-companist. , Fourth, fifth and sixth grades presented a miniature candlelight candle-light service directed by Joel P. Jensen aided by Ralph Ferrin. The school band played three Christmas numbers, Santa Claus visited the school Tuesday at 11 a.m. and handed out bags of candy to the children. |
