| Show commission is named on water I 1 irrigation difficulties to be adjusted will effect consolidation at tho the meeting of the beaver irrigation commission held may 1915 in the public li arary building one member of the commission from each irrigation interest together with tile the county agent as a neutral party was chosen to receive the names of each cach person using welter water from the head I cad waters of the beaver river and and the amount of his stock then to visit each of these stockholders and explain a plan agreed upon by the commission for the adjustment of the irrigation difficulties and to effect a consolidation of all the companies into one company for a more economical use of the waters of said river at the same time a yes or dino no signature is to be taken from each person visited if the majority of the shock is in favor of the plan agreed upon by the commission the different companies and interests will be called together to elect an official commission having authority to employ legal advice and to tak tako s uch such measures as are necess necessary art to consolidate all of the above named interests under the following general plan A general duty for all water rights shall be established say bay one second foot of water for each seventy acres of land irrigated for the irrigation season is as allowed by the office of the state engineer the rights to the use of water during the low water season shall he classified cassi clasI fied according to priority of appropriation as set forth by the irrigation laws lassof of the state of utah all water users shall be allowed to transfer the he wie use of their water rights to any lands within the limits of the canal system of the consolidated company the users of water in each adith shall appraise the amount of work to be done in maintaining the respective ditch in repairs and the company shall collect an assessment equal to that amount pro rata according to the water drawn by the water wiers users through the respective ditches to pay for the appraised work when done committee for writing the above plan as agreed upon by he commission JOHN BROOKS GEO A PARKINSON H A |
