Show LEGAL NOTICES . ORDINANCE NO. 47 CITY OF BINGHAM CANYON. UTAH An Ordinance Restricting the Right of Minors to Enter and to Remain in Beer Taverns. Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Bingham Canyon, Utah: Section 1. MFNORS NOT ALLOWED AL-LOWED IN BKKK TAVERNS. It shall he unlawful for any person under hf age of eighteen years to enter upon or remain in any beer tavern or other establishment establish-ment where beer, as defined in Chapter 15, Section 332, of the Revised Ordinances of the Town nf Binghnm Canyon, Utah, for the year 1W30, is kept or sold fori the purpose of consumption on the premises, except for the following fol-lowing purposes: a. To make deliveries or carry messages to the proprietor thereof, there-of, and to depart therefrom immediately. im-mediately. b. Where a portion of the premises pre-mises being operated as a beer tavern, or other establishment for the sale and consumption of beer on the premises, is operated as a cafe or restaurant, minors under the age of eighteen years may enter and remain in that portion of the premises so operated operat-ed only long enough to be served at the counter or tables used in the regular course of business of said cafe or restaurant and to consume the food served to them. Section 2. It shall be unlawful for the owner, keeper, manager, licensee of, or employee in any beer tavern, or other establishment establish-ment where beer is sold for consumption con-sumption on the premises, to permit or allow any person under un-der the age of eighteen years to visit or remain in any such beer tavern, or other such establishment establish-ment where beer is kept or sold for consumption on the premises, except for the purposes set forth in Section 1 of this Ordinance. Section 3. PENALTY. It shall be unlawful for any person to violate any provision in . this Ordinance; and any person convicted con-victed of violating any provision of this Ordinance shall be pun- (the City of Bingham Canyon, Utah, this 21st day of February, Febru-ary, 1952. All ordinances, or parts of ordinances, in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 5. In the opinion of the City Council, it is necessary for the peace, health, and safety of the inhabitants of the City of Bingham Canyon, Utah, that this Ordinance become effective immediately. im-mediately. ; Section 6.
