Show STUDY GUILD HAS FINEPROGRAM Copperton Study Guild entertained enter-tained the Girl Scouts and their mothers at the home of Mrs. L. F. Pett of Copperton on Monday evening, February 25. Mrs. Nona Carrigan, president of the Guild presided. , A three-act play, arranged by Mrs. Yvonne Willey, co-chairman of International Scouting of the Juliet Lowe Fund of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Emily Ablett, Salt Lake county day camp chair man, and Mrs. Marjorie Bates, group leader for the older girls, was given. Star performers were the Girl Scouts. Girl Scout dignitaries of Salt Lake and Bingham were introduced intro-duced by Mrs. Willey as follows: Mrs. Bonnie Clark, executive director of Salt Lake City council, coun-cil, who spoke on Girl Scout International In-ternational Friendship in Scouting; Scout-ing; Mrs. Margaret Templeton Buchman of the Salt Lake City Girl Scout council, who discussed discuss-ed the growth of the organization; organiza-tion; Mrs. Ethel Evans, Bingham district chairman and Mrs. Agnes Ag-nes Steele, chairman of public relations who outlined various ways of assistance needed in different dif-ferent projects for the Girl Scouts. The mothers were introduced intro-duced by their daughters. Following the program refreshments refresh-ments were served with the older old-er girls assisting in serving. Hostesses Hos-tesses for the evening were Mrs. Agnes Allsop, Mrs. Ruby Haus-knecht Haus-knecht and Mrs. Zelma Mc-Mullin. |
