Roberta received many lovely gifts. o Extensively Entertained Several prenuptial parties have been given during the past week in honor of Miss Roberta John-ston, John-ston, February ... bride elect. Among which was a nicely-appointed seven, o'clock dinner party given by Mrs. Boyd J. Nerdin Thursday evening, February Feb-ruary 7. A centerpiece consisting consist-ing of a miniature bride and groom and white wedding bell enlaced with pink satin sachet hearts graced the table as did rose petal heart-shaped bridal confetti artistically scattered a-round a-round the table. Individual corsages cor-sages of artificial flowers were favors. Besides the honoree and hostess, those present were Mrs. Eugene Morris, Mrs. A. D. Chris-tensen, Chris-tensen, Mrs. Earl T. James, Mrs. S. W. Jacques, Mrs. Joseph P. Scussel, Mrs. Tom Carrigan, Mrs. James Carrigan, Mrs. Dale Johnston John-ston and Miss ReNee Johnston. The group presented the honoree with a lovely gift. Prizes at bridge were awarded to Mrs. James, Mrs. J. Carrigan and Mrs. Scussel. Bingo prizes were won by Mrs. Morris and ReNee. ReNee also assisted the hostess with serving. Mrs. Harold Chesler entertained entertain-ed Tuesday evening at her home at a lovely handkerchief shower for Miss Johnston. Those present pres-ent besides the honored guest and hostess were Mrs. Albert Kastelic, Mrs. V. S. Barlow, Mrs. Tom Carrigan, Mrs. Dale Johnston, John-ston, Mrs. John Nilsson, Mrs. James Carrigan and Miss ReNee Johnston. The table setting included in-cluded a beautiful centerpiece consisting of a bride doll centered center-ed on a Valentine heart from which ribbons extended to a lovely gift surprise which were placed for each guest. Each guest was also presented a dainty Valentine Val-entine corsage on her arrival. Tripoli was played and a delicious delic-ious late luncheon was served. On Sunday afternoon, February Febru-ary 10, a clever red and white kitchen shower was given for Miss Johnston at the Wayne Hansen home in Copperton by Janice Gillman assisted by Le-ona Le-ona Hansen and Joyce Crump. Bingo bridge was played and several prizes were given. Table appointments followed a Valentine Valen-tine theme and favors were miniature min-iature brides.
