Show LOCAL NOTES Regular dinner and business meeting of the Bingham Canyon Lions club will be held at the Civic Center next Wednesday, December 17th at 6:15 p.m. announced an-nounced Dale Johnston, club president. All members are urged urg-ed to attend. Wallace A. Lott, 77, passed a-way a-way at his home in Salt Lake City last Thursday at 4 a.m. He was the father to Mrs. Earl Rager of Bingham Canyon. Funeral services were held Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at 36 E. 7th South, Salt Lake City. Abraham Stout, bishop bish-op of the South Second LDS Ward officiated. Interment was in Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. "" Ruth" Rebekah lodge" will Wd their annual Christmas party on Friday evening, December 19th at No. 1 Fire hall at 7 p.m. All members are invited to attend. No. 2 Firemen and auxiliary held their conjoint dinner party last Monday night with Mr. and Mrs. Manuel Susaeta, Mr. and Mrs. Evan Miller and Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Huebner the committee com-mittee in charge of arrangements. Table decorations and centerpiece center-piece followed a Christmas theme After dinner five hundred was played with prizes going to Mr. and Mrs. LaVell Timothy Mrs. Leonard Bell and Hugo Bianchi. The Christmas centerpiece which was given away later in the evening ev-ening was won by Joe Dispenza. A large crowd was in attendance. Lady Eagles met last Thursday night at the home of Mrs. Alfred Goff of Midvale. A regular business busi-ness meeting was held after which bridge was played. Prizes were won by Mrs. J. J. Doyle, first and bingo: Mrs. Amy Walters, Walt-ers, second, and Mrs. Hattie Lat-sis, Lat-sis, consolation. iLovely refreshments refresh-ments were served. |
