Show TEN PIN TAPS by Al Ablett Wednesday night old head pin Louie took a licking. Not many six hundreds but plenty of them close. Tim Ablett had big game of 225 and the writer had a 606. Dan Delaney was close with 574, after splits plagued him in the first game. Team 2, consisting of Jim Abplanalp, Ab-planalp, Mickey Callisto and Ned Chestnut lengthened their lead by taking four from team 5. Team 4 stayed in second by taking four points from team 6. Teams 8 and 3 broke even and one took three from seven. We have been -lucky this season sea-son having good pin setters. Mike and Rudy Gonzales and Lynn and Dennis Miller have been the regulars re-gulars on league night and they are good ones. Now don't forget to get your entries in for the Turkey shoot on Sunday the 21st. Mixed Doubles Doub-les handicap, a prize for every four teams. The earlier your entry en-try the earlier you bowl. The Monday night league had a full turn out. Bob Oseguera had high game 198, and "Fat" Warner had a 499 series. These fellows sure have fun. A number of Bingham bowlers finished in the money in the city tournament. The Emerald Club team finished in the money in team. Ken Chestnut won the singles title. Ken had a big 664 series on games of 218 223, 223. Ken is having a big year. That finger tip ball is splattering the pins. Your writer finished in a tie for second with 612 and George Geo-rge Sluga had a 605. A former Bingham girl, Ann Pechina, won the all events in the ladies division. divis-ion. o |
