Show WE CONGRATULATE. There are two things a man is never prepared for, namely, twins. On Monday last, ay nine o'clock a.m., the wife of Carl C. Johnson, Esq. (Esquire), our enterprising music dealer, gave birth to a fine girl, and on Wednesday at 11 o'clock a.m., just two days and two hours after the birth of the first, another little girl was born. Things seem to be happening by two's in friend Carl's household. The mother and little ones are doing well, and the father, at last accounts, was bearing up bravely under the shock. He promises soon to be up and around selling organs and musical instruments. He will have some to sell since this last addition to his family orchestra. In the meantime we congratulate the happy parents and extend our kindest wishes in behalf of the little strangers. |
