Show THROWING STONES. A gentleman residing in Logan, was walking up Third Street the other day when he was struck on the back of one of his legs with a stone about the size of an egg. As might be supposed a bad bruise was received which caused much pain. The sequel is however, that the gentleman was unable to ascertain by whom the stone was thrown. The perpetrator of this deed is censurable whether he did it intentionally or not, for even in the latter case his honor should lead him to make explanation. Boys, don't throw stones. Many have been maimed for life by stones no larger than the one used in the above case. |
