Show THE LAST MEETING. On Wednesday evening last, was held the last meeting of the present city council. At its next session, the council will be composed of the nominees of the People's convention to be voted for next Monday. Of the retiring Mayor and members of the council it may be truthfully said, that they have been faithful, honest and conscientious servants of the people. Particularly have these qualities been manifested in their administration of municipal finances. They deserve the grateful appreciation of all citizens and the LEADER moves a vote of thanks. Carried unanimously. |
