Show Our DNTottkt Typo. Through the kindness ot Brother George Woodward, who hired us a small amount of means, we have been enabled to procure a hundred pounds of type that is almost as good as new, of which this is a sample. It has aided us materially but we need a larger press, and have been corresponding with variaus parties on the subject and now all we lack is the wherewith to procure what we need . There are quite a number of our subscribers who have not yet paid, that are amply able to help us to the needed press, if they would, and a remittance from them in cash at their earliest convenience, will be , greatly appreciated. We do not say this to croud anybody and trust that none will take offense at it, for it Costs us considerable more to run the Union the size it is than we are receiving on both subscriptions and j advertising, and we need all the j encouragement in the way of means, I that we can possibly obtain. See our extra liberal offer in another anoth-er column. Editor. |
