LAWSON STIRS UP TROUBLE. Goes Before Committee to Testify as to "Leak" at Washington. Washington. Through a bewildering bewilder-ing maze of intimations and heated coloquies which turned the hearing Into an uproar, the house rules committee com-mittee wrestled for several hours on Wednesday with Thomas W. Lawson of Boston, without obtaining any definite defi-nite information to substantiate the stories of a "leak" to Wall street in advance of the president's peace note. When the committee adjourned, with Mr. Lawson's examination uncompleted, un-completed, a motion to cite him before be-fore the 'bar of the house for contempt because he refused to give the names had been considered in executive session ses-sion and taken under advisement
