Show LOCALNOTES Funeral services for Edward (Ted) .Roberts, 78, of American Fork, who died Monday of last week in a Provo hospital of a heart ailment, were held Friday, June 1, at 2 p.m. in the Anderson and Sons mortuary, American Fork, by Homer Royal, bishop Eighth ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Mr. Roberts was a brother of Mrs. Selena Nerdin of Bingham. American Legion auxiliary met leccntly at the home of Mrs. Mabel Brimhall. 36 poppy wreaths were made for veterans graves and a poppy wreath was placed at the war memorial monument mon-ument at Copperton by Mrs. Mabel Jensen, auxiliary president. presi-dent. A gift was presented to Mrs. Bertha Nichols, a member, who is leaving soon to make her home in Midvale, by Mrs. Brim-hall. Brim-hall. Cut prizes were won by Mrs. Caroline Murano, first; Mrs. Ruth Jacques, second, and Miss Kay Braun, low. 'A lovely luncheon lun-cheon was served to eleven. Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Donald G. Reid were Mr. and Mrs. Donald Davis and son, Donald R.J., of Midvale. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Goff visited vis-ited a couple of days in Orem and Provo last week. Mrs. Sam Feraco left Saturday afternoon, June 2, by plane for Des Moines, Iowa, where she will visit two weeks with her mother, Mrs. II. F. Kubitshek and other relatives. |
