Show Local Scenes Lloyd Smith, Marvin Bell, and U. B. Winkler. attended the dairy tour in Summit County last week. They were the only representatives from Duchesne County who joined in this tour of 80 persons through Summit County. The public had been invited. Mrs. Elmira Snow, Vernal, visited this weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Fitzwater, Duchesne. Other Vernal visitors visit-ors at the Fitzwater home were Mr. and Mrs. Ward Evans, Vernal, who brought Mrs. Snow to Duchesne. Mrs. Snow is Mrs. Fitzwater' s: mother, and Mrs. Evans is Mrs. Fitzwater' s sister. The Richard Kelsev familv has moved to Duchesne from Salt Lake City. While getting a house ready in town to move into, the Kelseys are staying with Mrs. Kelsey's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Rasmus-sen, Rasmus-sen, at their ranch home. The Kelseys have two sons, Ricky 2, and Jerry 8 months. Linda Jean Nelson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Munz, and a student at Wasatch Aca-demv. Aca-demv. has been choosen for a participant on the Student Exchange Ex-change Assembly. They will i travel to Gunnison and San Pete. She has also been elected elect-ed to the girls basketball team at the academy. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Davis traveled to Salt Lake City Sunday where Fay attended styling classes in the Prudential Federal Building. They returned re-turned home Monday. Mrs. Minerva Earl of St. George is spending a few weeks visiting with her son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Niles Earl. The John P. Madsens observed observ-ed their 83rd birthdays in February. Feb-ruary. Mrs. Madsen's birthday was Feb. 5 and J. P. 's was Feb. 16. Mrs. Madsen has been confined to the apartment of their daughter, Emily, in Salt Lake City, since she fell there and broke her arm last fall. |
