Show DUCHESNE UNIT NO. 22 AMERICAN LEGION HAS QUILTING PARTY The Duchesne Unit No. 22, The American Legion Auxiliary, sponsored the quilting party for the Primary Children's Hospital, Hos-pital, but most of the quilters who turned out for the occasion were members of the Relief Society. The quilting party was held at the American Legion Leg-ion Hall Monday, with Mrs. Mildred Smith in charge. Mrs. Phyllis Day, Auxiliary Unit President, assisted by Auxiliary members, planned and prepared and served the luncheon for the quilters, who completed four doll blankets and crocheted around the edges, quilted six crib and youth quilts. A lot of the material for the quilts was donated by Auxiliary members mem-bers and the quilters. Duchesne Unit No. 22 was embroidered on the donated items before they were mailed this week to the Primary Children's Hospital. Mrs. Day said she was so proud of the items, she took them to the Relief Society meet ings to display them to the other members. |
