Show I I I I I I V Central Relief ommittee Holds Important Meet The Duchesne County Central Relief Committee was in session Wednesday afternoon at the court house The meeting was attended by chairmen of ot the precincts of the county Relief requests had increased to such proportions that the money available was not nearly sufficient to meet the demands and the chairmen agreed with the committee committee com corn that relief could be given only to people coming corning under the following ving classifications V I a Old a-Old Old and infirm without means of support b Indigent b-Indigent poor I j c Suffering c-Suffering Suffering c-Suffering due to sickness need is acute and no other relief is available d Those d-Those Those who are destitute and have disposed of revenue producing producing ing property to sustain family needs Since there is no assurance that this help will continue much longer long long- er the committee felt that people j must be made to realize they i must plan and prepare for their future individually To this end there will be committees appointed appoint appoint- I ed to make malte a survey of garden possibilities and to stimulate an interest in the planting and caring caring caring car car- ing for large gardens All produce raised and stored against another I winter needs will reduce the necessity for outside help With the experience of the past two years each person should put forth every effort to produce and save I |
