Bishop HJ Spcrry performed the ceremony. An HJ orchestra played the wedding march HJ from "Lohengrin" as the bridal party HJ entered the room, where the marriage HJ too place, and other appropriate sc- HJ lections after the ceremony was per HJ( formed. The bride was attended by HJ her sister, Miss Minnie Donclson, and fl the groom by John Glenn. Mr. and J Mrs. Pinckham left Thursday for HJ Boise, where Mr. Pinckham is cn- HJ, gaged in the electrical business. They HJ- will be at home 'after November 15. Savage gave a party entertaining Mr. and Mrs. Savage of New York, and Judge and Mrs. C. C. Goodwin. Mrs. Robert Gould Smith and her sister, Miss Noble, entertained at a supper for Mrs. Isaac Trumbo, of San Francisco, who is the guest of Mrs. Edward McGurrin. Mrs. C. D. Porter left Monday for the cast after a stay of some time at the Kuutsford. John Phillip Sousa entertained a few friends at dinner Monday evening even-ing at the Knutsford, his guests being be-ing Mass Allen the vocalist, Miss Powers the violinist, the Misses Florence Flor-ence and Marguerite Jcssup, J. J. McCIcllan and Edward Kimball. The Ladies' Aid society of the First Presbyterian church will hold its annual an-nual Christmas bazaar the 5th and 6th of December in the church parlors. par-lors. The opening day a turkey dinner din-ner will be served in addition to the other attractions. Mrs. B. M. White and child of Eagle, Colo., arc visiting with Mrs. Whites' mother, Mrs. L. A. Billings. Mrs. White is accompanied on her visit by Miss Alice Fisher, who has been visiting some time in Colorado. Mr. and Mrs. Ellsworth Daggett arc home from a visit to California and arc at the. Knutsford. They will shortly be at home in the Brown terrace, where they have taken apartments apart-ments for the winter. Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Ncwhouse arc on their way home. M'rs. New-house New-house hopes to come west almost directly and will probably spend a part of the winter here. . Miss Hollister Hancock is home to remain a week or so, and later she will go on to Rcdlands to join her mother and grandmother for the win- ter. Mts. H. L. Charles entertained Thursday afternoon at cards. A surprise party on T. J. Morgan and wife, who are about to leave to make their home in California, was given at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. D. N. Straup Tuesday evening. Mrs. Ernest R. Eldredgc, who has been visiting Mr. and Mrs. Ncphi Morris for some time, has returned to her home in Portland, Ore. Miss Minnie Messenger, of Whitewater, White-water, Wis., is in Salt Lake and will be added to the teaching corps of the city schools. The Monday Afternoon Card club met Monday afternoon with Mrs. F. L. Oswald at her home on East First South street. Mrs. Cross, formerly of Ogdcn, the mother of Mrs. Osmand, is expected ex-pected in Salt Lake shortly to visit friends. Mr. and Mrs. Savage of New York are here on a visit to their son Leslie and arc at the Knutsford for a short stay. The Wasatch Literary met Tuesday Tues-day afternoon with Mrs. Rodgcrs at her 'home 'oh Fifteenth East street. Mr. and Mrs. Edward J. Roberts are expected shortly from Wonder to spend a month or so with Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Daly. - j Mrs. Thomas Thatcher and daughter daugh-ter Verda; are here from Logan and are at the Manitou.
