Show April Burn Window For Utah County Scheduled for Rest of April The Utah County Fire Marshal has announced that the Spring burn window will be April 1 through 30, which is the only burn window for the year 2011. Only natural materials such as limbs or weeds may be burned and must be 25 feet away from a structure, fence or combustible materials. materi-als. Diesel fuel andor gasoline gaso-line may not be used to start the fire. The fire must be constantly attended and those burning must have a sufficient suffi-cient means of putting out the fire with them. If the smoke becomes an annoyance or hazard, the individual may be required to put out the fire. Citizens are reminded to "Please be safe!" |
