Sacred Fireside entitled "Let Us Speak and Sing of Christ" Chauntenettes Ladies' Chorus to Present Sacred Fireside The Chauntenettes Ladies' Chorus will be presenting their 2011 Sacred Fireside entitled "Let Us Speak and Sing of Christ" on Sunday, March 13, at 7 p.m. They are pleased to announce an-nounce their guest speaker this year as Scott Anderson, a popular popu-lar LDS speaker and institute teacher. He is a published author au-thor and lectures at BYU Education Edu-cation Week, EFY, and various other youth, family and marriage mar-riage conferences. Brother Anderson has been teaching in Church Education since 1973. He is a faculty member mem-ber at the Sandy Institute of Religion, Re-ligion, and also teaches Institute at the University of Southern Nevada and Neumont University. Univer-sity. Obviously a very "sought after" speaker, the Chauntenettes Chaunten-ettes are excited to have him accompany ac-company them this year. This annual concert is a favorite for many and all are invited in-vited to attend this event. The concert will be held at the LDS ward building located at 1030 West 1600 North, Orem. The director of the chorus is Margaret Barfuss with Marilyn Cowley assisting her. Their accompanist ac-companist is Irene Jenkins, and she is assisted by Zoe Coomes. The Chauntenettes are especially es-pecially grateful to Orem City for their sponsorship. |
