Show PG Boys Take Sixth, PG Girls Eighth at the Utah County Swim Meet i &: 'm,-. ; " - by Dean Von Memmott At the Utah County Invitational, held at the Orem Recreation Center Nov. 12-1 12-1 3, the Pleasant Grove Viking swim team took sixth in the boys' division and eighth in the girls'. Viking Coach Lisa Harris said, "I was pleased our kids had cut down on their times much since Cedar City. Today, though, was not our day for our relay teams. They were missing their regular anchors. The substitute anchors did do their best." In the medley relay, Pleasant Grove took sixth in the boys' division and eighth in the girls'. Matt Rameson won the boys' 500 yard freestyle, and he took third in the boys' 200 yard freestyle relay. Kevin Fonseca finished seventh in the boys' 100 yard backstroke. Christie Bunnell took second in the girls' 100 yard butterfly. In the 200 yard freestyle relay, Pleasant Grove took fifth in the girls' division and seventh .in the boys'. The team of Rameson, Ryan Fonseca, Wes Rivers, and Kevin Fonseca took seventh in the boys' 400 yard freestyle. |
