Show City Court News . . . On June 18 a preliminary hearing was held in the case of State of Utah vs Phillip Ragnar Wiksten concerning the charge char-ge of automobile homicide. , Attorney Harry Snow appear-l appear-l ed on behalf of the defendent and Attorney William Benge T represented Utah. After all E evidence was in, it was the J, finding of the court that the .' crime charged had been a committed and there was J probable cause to believe the defendent had committed said , i crime. He was bound over to jj District Court and ordered to appear July 20. His bond was k continued in the amount of $5,000. ( Brad Liston appeared before h, the court on June 21 on the jj' charge of driving during i ' revocation. He pled guilty and g, was sentenced to pay a fine in jjj the amount of $250 and, in E i default of payment of the fine, to serve one day for each $5 ; not immediately paid. "11 On June 21 Ronald Inskeep appeared on the charge of driving while under the influence of intoxicants. He entered a guilty plea and was sentenced to pay a fine of $200 and to serve 40 days in jail. The jail sentence was suspended suspend-ed on the condition that he complete 6 months probation. Also on June 21 Kirk Loveridge appeared on the charge of driving while under the influence of intoxicants. He pled guilty and was sentenced to pay a fine in the amount of $200 and to serve 40 days in jail. The jail sentence was suspended on the condition condi-tion that he complete 6 months probation. Jarvis Dees appeared before the court on June 22 on the charge of driving while under the influence of intoxicants. Sandy Barker appeared on June 21 on a charge of aggravated sexual assault, a first degree felony. He requested re-quested counsel be appointed, and after he was found to be indigent, Attorney Harry Snow was appointed. He again appeared June 22 and preliminary prelim-inary hearing was set for Monday, June 28. Several individuals also appeared before the court on June 17, 21 and 22 concerning charges of drug abuse.
