Show Thompson News. . . By Virginia Gruver Mr. and Mrs. Ted Miller went to Denver to meet their daughter Sharen, who flew in from Washington D.C. for a visit with her parents. Mr. Miller took sick so they started home by time they got to Grand Jet. They had to put him in the hospital there. He has been a very sick man, the doctors can't seem to determine deter-mine what is wrong with him. Mr. and Mrs. Les Rogers have opened their new cafe at the 66 station, so far business, so they report, is very good. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Shuey and family, and two other pickups went to the reservation reserva-tion fishing over the weekend. Friday evening or night there was some gas stolen. Allen Rogers lost 5 gallons, Jim O' Neil lost 25 gallons, Art Thompson lost 5 gallons, a stereo and radio and Virginia Gruver's Chevron was broken into and a number of cans of canned goods was taken along with a toaster and a large screw driver. Mrs. Miller's mother. Mrs. Sando, of Denver and Mrs. Miller's daughter, Sharen, are visiting at the Miller home in Thompson. Bruce Miller of Salt Lake is home due to his father's illness. |
