Show San Rafael planning workshoo A public workshop on the San Rafael Planning Area is being sponsored by the Bureau of Land Management. The workshop work-shop will be held June 6 in the San Rafael Resource Area Office in Price between be-tween the hours of 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Resource specialists speci-alists will be available to discuss and answer your questions concerning wildlife, lands, minerals, range, forest products, watershed, and recreation uses. The San Rafael Planning Plan-ning Area encompasses a total of 1,797,000 acres which is all but a few thousand acres of Emery County. The towns of Huntington, Castle Dale, Orangeville, Cleveland, Emery, Ferron, Lawrence and Moore are within the planning area. The area is significant for the geologic features of the San Rafael Swell. For the past several months data has been gathered. The physical profile and the present situation of the area has also been written. In the near future we will be preparing our management manage-ment recommendations.
