Show Pioneer Day Pfcus Being Moda In Moab Final preparations for the annual Pioneer Days cele-bratiem cele-bratiem en Friday, July 2!. are being made by the throe -Moab Wards cf" the LDS Church. A full day's activities activ-ities a.vle being planned. The day will begin w ith a parade at 10 a.m., and all businesses, organisations, and individuals are invited to participate. Those taking part should be at the Grand County H'gh School by 9:15 a.m. for lining up. Theme cf the parade is Anxrica tUf 3 Beautiful." and thi rcuite will bo from the High School, through town, to the City Park. Parade entries en-tries will be judged and three trophies will be awarded award-ed to the winners. Immediacy following parade pa-rade festivities will be games, gam-es, rides, and concessions at She Furk which will last most of the day. There will also bo raops and contests. Various concessions to be sold will be snow cones, cotton cot-ton candy, baked goods, hamburgers, ham-burgers, foot long hot dogs, popcorn, cold drinks, pie, ice cream, and watermelon. There will be several booths fet up for tho games and those will include darts, ball throws. r:ng toss, fish ponds, and kiddy rides. Friday evening will feature fea-ture a short program at the City Park beginning at S:v) p.m. At PiO p.m. There will be a dance with live music wh'ch will be held on the parking lot cf tho Helen M.
