Show Drowning Victim's Bsd' ilscored Mem Dewey Sheriff W. H. Bowman reported this week that the body of a Green River man. Robert Hubbs, who was drowned in the Colorado River last November along with three of his companions, compan-ions, was found last week about two and one-half miles above Dewey. George Birdwell, a Moab man, made the sighting on May 19 at about 2:30 p.m.. when he saw the body caught on a rock about 40 feet out in the river. He drove to Cisco and called Sheriff Bowman, who, along al-ong with a number of other oth-er men in the area, retrieved re-trieved the body. The body was taken to Moab by the Turner Ambulance and was later transferred to the Mitchell Funeral Home jin Price for services. Hubbs was one of a party par-ty of four men from Green River who were on a hunting hunt-ing trip last November when their boat capsized. One man escaped in the incident in-cident and the other two bodies have not yet been found. Sheriff Bowman stated that persons in the area are once again watching watch-ing for the bodies, |
