Show Deadline approaches for comments on ORV re as The deadline for written comments on proposed regulations concerning off-road vehicle (ORSV) use on public lands is drawing near, according to the Bureau of Land Management. uecause or nine cnange from earlier proposed regulations, and due to the success of a previous ' public meeting on ORV use, additional meetings r are not planned, com-' com-' mented Paul L. But we are making a special appeal for written comments from concerned persons to round out public input in preparation prepara-tion of writing final ORV regulations, said Howard. Copies of the proposed regulations are available at BLM district offices in . Vernal, Moab, Richfield, Cedar City and Salt Lake City, as well as the Utah State Office. Utah has many responsible respons-ible ORV enthusiasts who will be affected by the new regulations and BLM urges all interested persons per-sons to send their comments com-ments to Director (210), Bureau of Land Management, Manage-ment, Washington, D.C. 20240, by September 7. |
