July 13, to attend the National Convention of the Future Ilomemakcrs of America which is being held on the campus of Colorado State University at Fort Collins, Colorado. The convention, con-vention, slated for July 14-17, will present ideas for accomplishing accom-plishing the objectives of the l9-73 program of work in order to obtain the horizons of youth. The program has been thmed "Action for Accomplishment." Ac-complishment." Miss Scorzato will be a senior se-nior this next academic year at Grand County High School and will begin her third year of activity with the local FIIA Chapter. She held the office of Secretary this past school year, and was a delegate dele-gate to the State Convention in Salt Lake City at which time she was chosen to attend at-tend the national affair. The local high school chapter chap-ter is paying the expenses, and Miss Scorato is traveling travel-ing with a group of 23 Utah Delegates from Salt Lake City." Tonya has lived in Moab for three years, and is the daughter or Mr. and Mrs. Hor.ry Scorzato. She is active ac-tive in Pep Club, and was school mascot last year. |
