Show Corbin Elected Vice President Of Association J. Wallace Corbin, President Presi-dent and General Manager of Midland Telephone Company, Com-pany, was elected. First Vice-President of the Rocky Mountain Telephone Association Associa-tion at the recent convention held at Colorado Springs, Colorado. He will fill the position of President of the Association in September of 1970 for the year 1970-1971. The Rocky Mountain Telephone Tele-phone Association consists of about 8i per cent of all telephone companies in vhe states of Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming Idaho, and Montana. This includes independent companies, com-panies, the Bell System, and General Telephone of th? Southwest, plus associate supplier members. Mr. Corbin Cor-bin has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Rocky Mountain Telephone Association for six years and a member of the association assoc-iation for nineteen years, during which time he has held chairmanships of various var-ious committees. Last year he was chairman of the Southern Region Training Committee for the states of Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Colo-rado, and Utah; and com-. mercial seminars were held in these states for the as sociation. |
