This program will allow students, who qualify to take classes which will fulfill college requirements require-ments instead of taking classes which do little more than occupy time during the senior year. In addition to special arrangements arran-gements made for taking classes at the Continuing Education center, some students may be allowed to have a job, if the job lis found to lie one which will Le a learning experience experi-ence and therefore valuable valu-able in the field in which the student chooses to major. Each student must apply ap-ply for this proprnm and each student's request will be considered on an individual basis. It is honed hon-ed that this time allowed during the school day will be utilized by the students taking Continuing Continu-ing Ed clasr.es for study for their college class or for doing homework that otherwise would have to I be done in the evening. I This will, it is hoped, help I the student learn to make i decisions on using his time wisely for study in preparation for full time college work. School official stated that no problems are anticipated an-ticipated and that the general feeling is that this program will broaden t ho senior curriculum and be very beneficial to those participating. |
