We thought it would be appropriate at this time to extend our thanks for your continued Nuppoil of our orgiiniation as we now have enough funds available avail-able lo purchase a 4 channel radio for the new ambulance recently purchased pur-chased by the County. Until now, we have been "making do" with a portable walkie-talkie (also (al-so purchased by a donation dona-tion drive several years ago), which hasn't had the capabilities needed for our vast service area. The monies have been donated in the memory of the following xs.iple: Jack Vouvan, Je(f Meador, Marlowe C. Smith, Carroll Meador, Jerry MacAdams and Charles Merrell. The community response re-sponse to our Association over the years have been overwhelming at limes, lo say the least. The volunteers volun-teers in our organization have been striving to give the citizens of this urea the Ix-sl, most highly trained service possible. Your supjwirt to our efforts do make a difference. Because of the bcrjurs that we purchased last year with the money raised by the children of Southeast Flenunlary. our voluntevr group now has the fastest response time to emergency Calls of any volunteer orKniMt- ' lion in ihe state. Thus is one of our ways of saying thanks to you. Again, thank you, and we hop. to continue to servo you in limes to come. Sincerely, Grand County Ambulance Assn. Jim Phillips, Pres. Larry Ing.
