Show Firm Begins New Air Service Beginning immediately, th communities of Grand and San Juan county will be served serv-ed by another commuter-type commuter-type airline service on a daily basis to Salt Lake City, it was announced Tuesday. Calvin Black, Blanding, a principal officer in Scenic Airlines, said Tuesday evening ev-ening that his firm had purchased pur-chased two new 5-passenger aircraft to use on the run. The Cessna 210 and Cessna 2:6 will make a daily round-trip round-trip flight to Salt Lake City cn a Monday through Saturday Sat-urday basis, he said, weather weath-er permitting. At present, the flight is scheduled to depart from Moab at 7:45 a.m. for Salt Lake City. The return flight from Salt Lake City will arrive ar-rive in Moab at 6 p.m. One-way fare wil be $20, Mr. Black said, with a ten per cent discount being offered of-fered for round-trip service, and half price for children under 10 years of age. The company maintains offices of-fices in Blanding and Salt Lake City, and will operate from the main terminal bu'l-ding bu'l-ding at the Salt Lake International Inter-national Airport. Local reservations res-ervations agent for the airline air-line will be Glenn Victor, Mr. Black stated. |
