Bishops C. A. Kay-mond, Kay-mond, Dave Bailey and Harry Snow, were the enterprising promoters of the dinner. It was prepared by the Relief Re-lief Societies of the three wards, and MIA girls served. Many bought tickets tick-ets who did not attend the dinner; over 400 plates were served in the gaily decorated recreation hall, and heard guest speaker, former Secretary Secre-tary of Agriculture Ezra Taft Benson speak on "Trade and Treason." Mr. Benson spoke against communist infiltration in-filtration into America, and against aiding the "Viet Nam enemy with supplies sup-plies to anti countries. The LDS Church will hold an "out-of-debt" celebration cel-ebration in August, and formally dedicate, ded-icate, the buildings at the State Quarterly Quar-terly Conference in Moab . next September. |
