Show RECREATION CENTER JOVITIES Some 165 young people attended attend-ed the teen age dance held last Saturday nigiit at BCO hall under un-der the sponsorship of the county recreation department and Bingham Bing-ham Canyon Lions club youth welfare committee. During the dance plans were formulated to organize a teen age club. A committee com-mittee was appointed to discuss the proposed club with the students stu-dents at the high school to get their reaction. On the committee are: Ned Miller, chairman; Kar-lene Kar-lene Wilson, Kent Christensen, Amy 'Miya, Douglas Gonzales, , Angelina Micla, J. D. Eoren and Alta Thorne. The committee will also act as a nominating committee com-mittee to name two groups to run for offices of the teen age club. As soon as the Civic Center is renovated, the top floor is to be used as teen age center. During the coming week, there will be the afternoon recreational recreation-al program for the younger set, Monday through Friday at BCO hall from 2 to 5 p.m. under the supervision of Mrs. Norrene Smernoff. In the evening the hall will be open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday Satur-day for the teen age group. Also on Saturday there will be tap dancing classes starting at 10 a.m. under the direction of Gloria Phelps. o |
