Show SALT LAKE COUNTY RECREATION by II. E. Babcock In second round games of the "Little Giants" league played February 10, the Cougars drubbed drub-bed a smaller miner team 26 to 5. Cresie Herrera copped scoring honors for the Cougars with 8 points. Other scorers were L. Caldwell 6, Jr. Cordova 6, L. Sarrao 4, and Lynn Miller 2. Richard Nielsen with 2, Jack Herrimm with 2 and Norman Bianchi with 1, completed the scoring for the Miner team. In thr- second game the classy Navy Junior team had little trouble downing a smaller but game Seagull team 55 to 4. Again it was Dickie Susaeta who collected col-lected j total of 24 points. Russell Rus-sell Ridder with 16 and Ronnie Boren with 12 were the leading scorers for the Navy ti am. Dick Montoya with two charity tosses. Bus Strand and Dennis with one each completed the scoring for the Seagulls. In the third game a more experienced ex-perienced Mohawks team defeated defeat-ed the Golden Hawks by a score of 51 to 3. Tommy Lovat led all scorers with a total of 34 points. .Other leaders for the Mohawks were Robert Nichols, 12 jmd John Goris with 5. F. Martin 1, and 'Timmic Leonard 2, completed the scoring for the Golden Hawks. Schedule for February 17: 3:30, Mohawks vs Seagulls 4:10, Golden Hawks vs Miners 4:50, Navy Juniors vs Cougars On Saturday the Wildcats, a third grade team was defeated by the Lions, another third grade team by a score of 4 to 2 L. Cordova and Ruben Gal legos scored 2 points each for the Lions Kent Abplanalp scored two for the Wildcat team. Other games were played during dur-ing the week between Copperton and Bingham and Copperfield and Bingham.
