Show j LOCAL NOTES I Announced this week is the marriage of C. L. Camp and Mrs. Lola Sorenson. The wedding took place Tuesday, April 20 at Elko, Nev. Past Matrons Circle of the Order of Eastern Star met Thursday, Thurs-day, April 15 at the Salt Lake City Masonic temple. Luncheon was served to 51 members. An interesting talk on Guatemala was given by Past Mastron Mrs. Louise K. Dods. Hostesses for the occasion were Liorita Morrison. Myrtle Mann, Lydia Meyers and Woody Moore, all of Salt Lake City, Virginia Parker and Annie Anderson of Midvale, Maude Myers of Lark, Myra Larilk of Binghan and Helen Watson and Irene Frazier of Copperton. UGIG club met last Thursday evening at the home of Mrs. R. G. Steele. Mrs. L. C. Amsden was an invited guest. Prizes at five hundred were won by Mrs. John Anderson, Mrs. Tory Tobiason and Mrs. L. E. Barnett. Lovely refreshments were served. Mrs. Robert Crellin and Mrs. Fred Hoine left last Thursday for a visit with their nephew and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Beck-stead Beck-stead of Los Angeles, Calif. Mrs. W. D. Kidd and daughter Ruth Claire and Mrs. A. J. Ablett Ab-lett left last Friday to visit two weeks with Mr. and Mrs. John E. Greene of Bellflower, Calif. A marriage license was issued this week to Nickolas Santos of San Diego, Calif., and Janie M. Torres of Bingham. Among the 71 new Shriners recently initiated into the El Kalah Mystic Shrine was Dr. Harold C. Jenkins of Bingham. Entre Nous club met last Thursday evening at the home of Mrs. W. C. Carter. Bridge prizes were won by Kay Braun, Mrs. H. F. Dowd, Mrs. Dean Ham and Mrs. Martin Prigmore. Mr. and Mrs. Elwood T. John- son and sons, Lynn and Tommy, spent Tuesday evening in Provo visiting with their daughter Bonnie Bon-nie Jean, a student at BYU. Eagles auxiliary met last Thurs day evening for a social at the home of Mrs. James Goff. Contract Con-tract bridge was played and prizes pri-zes won by Mrs. Darrell Graham, Mrs. Irvin Stillman and Mrs. Lester Harris. Lovely refreshments refresh-ments were served. I James Goff. Douglas Fitzgerald. Fitzger-ald. A. L. Nelson. Kenneth Fos- ter, William Walters and H. R. Gust attended an Eagles state officers meeting in Salt Lake City Tuesday evening. Three new members, Don T. Christen-sen, Christen-sen, John W. Eastman and Robert Ro-bert L. Ivie, were also in attendance attend-ance and initiated into the organization or-ganization the same evening. An officers meeting of Bingham Bing-ham Eagles aerie No. 65.9 will be held next Monday evening, April 26 at Eagles hall. Ray Jaeger of San Mateo, Calif., membership counselor of the grand aerie, will be in attendance. All Bingham ward Primary boys and girls are asked to be at the church next Sunday evening. April 25 at 7 o'clock to put on their primary conference. . Regular Eagles meeting will be held tonight, Friday, at Eagles hall at 8 o'clock according to H. R. Gust, secretary. Plans are being be-ing completed for the 21st annual an-nual Eagles Mother's day program pro-gram to be held Monday evening, even-ing, May 10 at BCO hall. Bert A.
