UT AM RA Vf PIONEERS Their Grandchildren Will Win TaKe Tale a Rest Tomorrow in Memory of the Entrance Entrance En En- trance to Valley Pioneer day in Utah will wi b be observed d tomorrow in practically every town and village in the State tate Some places have arranged big programs rams and others will wi merely observe the occasion by bavin having havinga a holiday and outing It I is in memory of the first appearance of the old setters settlers set set- tiers of Salt Lake Valley Valey Sixty years ago the pioneers came in in with their thel ox teams and heavy wooden wagons and handcarts handcart and proceeded to lay the corner corer stone to what they hardly hadly realized would be one of the biggest big biggest gest cities cites of the Western Wester country country- And now their children will wi celebrate the memory of those old people who suffered suffered suf suf- so many hardships in the early days for the the sake of mankind in in the twentieth century style F r the first time in many years years there will wi be no program or any sort of f public demonstration in Salt Lake City The resorts rEsorts will wi all al be running in full fun force forc and will wi no doubt receive large larRe crowds There There- will wi be fireworks sent up by some of the more enthusiastic tic till people but on the whole the day will wi be quiet With the exception of baseball 1 games ames g-ames there will wi be nothing special at any of the resorts In the smaller towns however where the Mormon people are in the majority there will wi be exercises and more spirit spirit- spirited spirited ed celebrations tons All AU through the State the people will wi have a holiday but in Salt Sal Lake City there are but few firms firma that will wi close up P for the occasion
