Show SAVE WORRY FOX-EXHIBITORS FOX-EXHIBITORS W BETHRluG DISPLAYS Aim of Plan to 'Be Adopted at Manufactures Build- -Intf at State Fair. There are going to be some very important im-portant and almost radical changes made In the big manufactures building build-ing at tbe state (air. , 0. H. Hewlett, the w supervisor of this building, who hag had experience experi-ence is fairs covering a period of twenty-firs years, has been planning many change,-which will be a great benefit for the exhibitors and the public. pub-lic. It is expected to make a general gen-eral clearance of all ths old stands now in ths building, many of which hare been there for quits s number of years, and have everything entirely new, clean and up to date. Many manufacturers manufac-turers hare not exhibited at the fair in the past on account ef the work of making their own booths, arranging for electric lights, and many other incidentals in-cidentals in which they have had no experience. Many of these who hare exhibited have hired inexperienced hands to put up their booths, and as eoupeuuem e have ntit been yevw or-tistie. or-tistie. Another feature which has given rise to criticism in the past is that many exhibit! have been well lighted and others have not put in any extra lights at all. This year it is expected to make an entire change, and one which will effect ef-fect a great saving financially and in worry to those who make exhibits. It is planned to taee uniform and beautiful beau-tiful booths in every section of the manufactures building, and these booths will be aehemed up to make an effective effect-ive showing. Colonial d feigns are to be used for the eentcr of the floor, and on the idee the mission style. All the booths will be painted white. Tbe lights will 11 be furnished with every booth and every booth will be well lighted. Signs will also be painted to put over each booth so that the publie will know exactly ex-actly where to look to find out whose exhibit is on the interior. In other words, the plan is to furnish everything eomplete for the exhibitor except the exhibit. This arrangement, it is said, will make it better, aa all the booths wil be finished in plenty of time, and it is expected that before the opening day positively every exhibit ex-hibit will be in plaee, and there will be no rubbish or noi of carpenters around the day the fair opens. I Tbe Manufacturers' association and the Wemee'e Home Industry association associa-tion will have a beautiful both in the center of the manufactures building, where they will receive visitors and extend all eourtesies possible to sightseers sight-seers to make them feel at home. Dan Collett, secretary of the Manufacturers' Manufactur-ers' association, and Mrs. Olive Ta-yens, Ta-yens, president of the Home Industry association, assisted by members of both organizations, will be at this booth all tbe time, and do everything they can to make visitors feel at home. 'There are many other .important changes," aav Mr. Hewlett . "planned for the manufactures building which will bs announced later on, but there is one thing the publie can rest assured as-sured of. that the exhibits and booths in the building will Jje something to be proud of and will cause the manufacturers manu-facturers themselves to take more interest in-terest than for many years past:" |
