Show TO PUT NEW LIMIT ON NEVADA RATES "ARSON CITY, Nev., Feb. 1. Senator Sena-tor Pyne today introduced a bill in the Senate providing for a maximum of three cents per ton to the rnile on freight snd the same the mile for passengers pas-sengers in Nevada. The measure is considered drastic, as the present ton rate is twenty cents and the fare unlimited, un-limited, hut ranges from five to twenty twen-ty cents to the mile. In the Assembly Assem-bly a bill was introduced by Assem-hbyman Assem-hbyman Husky, providing that" members of the Legislature be not allowed to hold, retain or receive railroad passes. Senator Boyd introduced a hill in the .Senate providing that th Attorney General of the State be ex-ofhcio ex-ofhcio Mineral Commissioner, and au-. tborized to appear in all cases of contests con-tests over patented lands involving mineral rights. |
