The star promoter believes it will be suicide for the Philadelphian to make 133 ringside for the colored champion. If any one ' puts up the $20,000 purse demanded de-manded by Gans and Lewis, It will stop negotiations for a return match between Gans and Nelson, says "Tex," though he has $30,000 posted now for a championship champion-ship mill between them for July Fourth In Ely. "I will not bid for a Lewts-Gans meet- ' lng," said Rlckard today. "I do not consider con-sider the right worth $20,000. Gans wants a chance at my $30,000 purse, and if I can get Nelson In the same mood, Ely will see the beat fight of years."
