Show LAND BOARD INQUIRY CLOSED BY COMMITTEE Harry -Anderson, chief clerk in the office of the State Board of Land Commissioners, Com-missioners, had his innings Saturday afternoon af-ternoon before the committee appointed by the Senate to Investigate the land board. AnJerson has been under tire since the fnvent1ffa.Hnn beffan. Before the committee Anderson denied that he had told his brother-in-law, P. A. Sorenson to get possession of somo land. In defense of Anderson. Sorenson and W. J. Lynch took the witnes stand. Besides the evidence the committee received re-ceived two kicks. One was by Philander and Alvln W. Hatch of Wood's Cross and S. E. Jensen of Mt. Pleasant. Anderson on the witness stand denied that in any way had he told his brother-in-law of the land and as for the Gams incident he declared that he and another employee had been . Interested in the boom at Green River. John DeGrey Dixon, Adolph Dachoss, William J. Lynch. W. D. Candland, William Wil-liam H. Thain and Alvin W. Hatch testified tes-tified and the committee closed its investigation. |
