It was "taboo" for the greenllngs to do almost anything except go to classes, upper class rules forbidding for-bidding them to pasa through front doors of buildings, wear any former for-mer high school or junior college regalia, wear light colored corduroys cordu-roys or any color mustaches, nd commanding them to know all the traditions, songs and yella of their alma mater. They rushed to the doors to help a lady out. and one of them had to trek far Into the country to carry her books home; they had to cook meals for fault-finding upper classmen; they had to sing songs and yell cheers, carrying out the slightest whimsy of the ruling class. And if they didn't submit te these regulations in a manner be-' fitting a lowly frosh, they were hauled before the senior court, which convened each noon, and were treated to a combination of RIU Brothers' comedy plus a touch |
