Show It's a Long Trail for Lots of Traveling Salt Lakers But It Leads Back to Salt Lake Gity By ANNE FXOISE HWEEXET There eeeme to he a "long, long trail a-winding" for any number of Salt Lakers who travel about so much, but the trail always leads hark to Salt Lake City and most of them are scurrying home now to got all set for wintertime. Dr. and Mrs. Harry K. Gurnsey spend the summers at their home at llebgrn dam, Montana, but they closed up the house and returned to Salt Lake City the other day. They live at l'!'J6 Arlington drive. After spending two weeks at Lake Tahoe, Mr. and Mrs. P. T. Farnaworth Jr. have returned to their home, 165 A street. Mr. and Mrs. T. G. Griffin are now at home at 32 Haxton place. During the summer they resided at 1119 First avenue. The Philip Schonerte went to the roast two weeks ago to take in the fair and visit with friends there. They returned to their home. 723 East Second South street, during the week. Dr. and Mrs. L. B. Harmon, 1044 East Seventeenth South street, will be off Friday for a vacation jaunt to California. Thatcher All red of Ogden will go with them to Palo Alto, where he'll attend Stanford. The Harmons will spend two weeks visiting In San Francisco and Loa Angeles before returning home. Tha Will Brownes. IS Twelfth East street, have had guests at their house for some time, but they're left alone again now. Mrs. Browne's sister. Miss Juliet Mr-Cune, Mr-Cune, who was here for six weeks, returned to her home In Omaha Wednesday. Her brother. W. S. MrCune, was here for a while, but left earlier In the month for Omaha. At home aft?r their wedding trip are Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence A. Batsell, 2S0 Fifth East street. They visited the parks of southern Utah, Ixs Angeles and San Francisco. Before her marriage August 31, Mrs. Batsell was Miss Beatrice McCrea, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William M. McCrea, 462 East First South street. ' Another pair of newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Morris J. Warburton, who were married earlier in the sum-rrler, sum-rrler, were off Tuesday for Chicago, Chi-cago, where Mr. Warburton will i study medicine at Northwestern university. Mrs. Warburton was Miss Margaret Gurnsey, daughter of Mrs. Alice Lyna Gurnsey, 1135 East South Temple street. Off Wednesday for tha east was William B. Daly, son of Mr. and Mrs. John C. Italy, 73 F street. He's going to Ithaca, N. Y, to enter Cornell university. Miss Gay Kelly, -daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Kelly of Butte. Mont., spent a week or so visiting at the Jamea Ivera' home, S64 East First South street, and when she had to go home the Iversee drove her up to Butte. Their 1 daughter, Miaa Eileen F. Ivers, and sons, Jamea Ivers Jr. and William Wil-liam Ivers, went with them. While there the Iversee visited Mr. and Mrs. Jamea T. Flnlen. They returned re-turned Wednesday. |
