Show 'IT EXTENSION COURSES SET At the same time as regular University Uni-versity of Utah classes begin next week, courses offered by the university uni-versity extension division, under direction of Dr. I. O. Horsfall. will open, with a wide variety for the public to choose from. Most of the classes will be given at the Lafayette school during the evenings, but a few can be taken on' the campus. The faculty for the extension division classes is made up of campus professors, augmented by business and professional pro-fessional men In the city. Classes will meet once a week for about two hours, Monday through Friday. College credit is given on each course. Among subjects to be given this year will be the ever popular "Utah Geology," taught by Dr. Ray E. Marsell of the university geology department. Dr. R. V. Chamberlin of the biology department, who studied in Europe last year, will teach "Modern "Mod-ern Trends In Biology," with the aid of others from his department. Dr. Frederic W. Ganzert, associate associ-ate professor of history and political po-litical sclencewill teach a course "onTJurrent WorNmffslrs." and" Dr. W. Harold Dalgliesh, also of the history and political science department, will have a class on "Recent Political Thought." Registration will be conducted at the Lafayette school Monday evening and at the extension division divi-sion for the classes to be held on the campus. |
