Gifts were ex-changed. Mrs. Aloha Kendall entertain-ed for members of her bridge club, Mrs. Dora Whitmore and Mrs. Maude Giles played high. Others present were Mrs. Flor-ence Abplanalp and Mrs. Betty iGillam. A light luncheon was served. Members of the 500 club met recently as guests of Mrs. Elva Baum. Prizes at cards were won by Mrs. Virginia McCarty first, Mrs. Mary Grossman second and Mrs. Leola Peterson house. Odell Mangum was instructor for teach ers training. Other topics were discussed after which refresh-ments were served by the Sun-day school superintendent. James Reed, who is in Emmett Ida., on a business trip, is ex pected to return home Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Ault o Tooele were week end guests o her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jame. Reed and family. The 509 club held their Christ mas party Wednesday at thi home of Mrs. Viva Sweat. A do licious dinner was served afe which cards were enjoyed. Mn Ilia Coombs won first and travel ing prizes and Mrs. Bessie Biglo cut prize. Nevers were Salt Luke visitors Wednes-day and also visited in Murray with Mrs. Myles McDonald and daughter Willamay. Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Mann of Riverdalo spent Tuesday and Wednesday visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Bray. Mrs. Mann and Mr. Bray are brother and sister. Mr. and Mrs. Tony Jaterka are the proud parents of a baby boy born Monday, Dec. 12 at St. Mark's hospital in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. N. G. Nevers and daughters, Valeta and Norma, were Salt Lake visitors last Wed. They also visited with Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Ottley of Midvale. Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Backman of Salt Lake City visited Monday evening with Bert Whetsel and Mr. and Mrs. BUI Garcia.
