Show COURT ADJUSTS BOOKING ERROR When an error In transcribing records was discovered, a speeding charge listed in police court against J. D. Palmer, 49, of 227 Eighth East street, had been stricken Saturday. Sat-urday. Mr. Palmer appeared In court Monday on charges of not observing observ-ing a stop sign and was fined 110, of which $3 was suspended. However, How-ever, w hen the cue was booked the ordinance number was copied as 1382. or speeding, instead of 1382-C, or slop sign violation. As a result a violation of 1382 was listed against Mr. Palmer in court on Tuesday. This listing waa reported in a Telegram story of the court session as a result of the error in copying. A bench warrant ordered on the incorrect listing later was withdrawn. |
