Show Y. W. M. I. A. both women named in th an nouncement from the church offices have given valiant and productive nervice and have honored their callings. Mrs. Fox, an outstanding leader among women of the church, has given almost lifetime service in the organization, beginning as a ward president In 1895. At the age of 13 years, she has richly . earned lier ideas from arduous and exacting . labors. Without the least sign of infirmities or flagging zeal, her capacity for handling the manifold mani-fold affairs of her office, involving much traveling and the oonducting of conference, directing the hoard she heads a well as subordinate boards, has been an ama.'ing exhibition of vitality, faithfulness faith-fulness and elective and cmMi uctivc ability. She , has nrhly derived the nianv honors which have fallen to hrr and the boundless affection in which she is held by unnuniered thousands of M. 1. A. members, her collaborators and friends. Mrs. Cannon's experience in this organization has closely paralleled that of Mrs. Fox. Since she was 14 years of age she has been a member or officer in the association. She has performed missionary mis-sionary service in the northwestern states in addition, ad-dition, and except for two years so spent, she has had continuous association activity for more than 30 years. Mrs. Cannon has been counselor to Mrs. Fox for the past eight years. In the new office to which she has been called, it is her prerogative pre-rogative to name her two counselors. She assumes as-sumes the general presidency fully qualified for her new responsibilities and to carry on the traditions tradi-tions of her illustrious predecessor.
