Show -SUBSTITUTE-BILLON LIQUOR PASSED BOISE MPV-The Idaho house of representatives rushed through another an-other liquor law enforcement measure meas-ure Thursday to take the place of one vetoed this week by Governor BarxlUa W. Clark. The house passed the substitute bill, M to 25. It was sponsored by Representative Representa-tive Tracy Coker (R), Lincoln, who has hsld up action on his measure pending the outcome of the previous measure in the hands of the governor, gover-nor, who vetoed It on the grounds I Attorney General J. W. Taylor held It unconstitutional Coker's bill provides that the state liquor control commission shall be designated as the chief law enforcement enforce-ment agency of the 1935 state stores act The earlier measure, by Senators George Donart (D), Washington, and L L. Burtenshaw (D), Adams, appropriated 125,000 to the department depart-ment of law enforcement, which was designated as the principal enforcement en-forcement agency. |
